Interpenetration Festival'06
Das Festival hat seinen Namen einem der Prinzipien entliehen, die John Cage in seinem Musikschaffen beanspruchte und anwendete, nämlich "Unimpededness and interpenetration. Discovery and invention." "Interpenetration means that each [idea] is moving out in all directions penetrating and being penetrated by every other one no matter what the time or what the space. So that when one says that there is no cause and effect, what is meant is that there are an incalculable infinity of causes and effects, that in fact each and every thing in all of time and space is related to each and every other thing in all of time and space." (John Cage, "Silence") Das Prinzip der Interpenetration, der gegenseitigen Durchdringung ohne gegenseitige Beeinflussung, wird auch von dem großartigen Label chmafu nocords und seinem Macher marufura fufunjiru, das den Hintergrund für das Festival bildet, verfolgt. Alles ist Tatsache und sollte nicht als Symbol misshandelt werden. Die Selbstverwirklichung ist unmöglich. Die ganze Menschheit muss sich als solche verwirklichen. Die Aufgabe von Linearität als Ordnungsprinzip, die Bedeutungslosigkeit als ultimative Bedeutung sind Thema und Aufgabe für die eingeladenen Musiker und Theoretiker. Kunst ist Selbstveränderung. Unauflösbar verbunden mit dem Alltag aus dem sie immer wieder herausgenommen wird, um das Ego zu feiern, um sich selbst aus dem Alltag zu lösen. Kunst und Alltag sich durchdringen lassen. Auf allen Ebenen.
